Behold, an adjustable sterling silver Taxco poison ring featuring what appears to be three pieces of presumably gold sheen obsidian made in Mexico in the mid-1900s!! (measurements referenced as if ring is on a finger) length (knuckle to knuckle) - 26mm width (ornamental portion only) - 15mm height (ornamental portion only) - 14mm ring size for finger - adjustable Overall, the ring is in very good vintage condition, with a natural patina inside and out.  It is stamped with the Eagle 1 Mexican assay and Taxco Mexico 925 with the artist's initials which appears to be MI.  The poison pill holder opens and closes properly.  The band can be carefully adjusted to comfortably fit virtually any sized finger.  The ring weighs 7.3 grams. The gemstones appear opaque black until held to bright light or direct sunlight.  It has an iridescence as shown in the video.  Under certain conditions, they glow pale yellow, making me think they are gold sheen obsidian.   Please note, measurements are approximate.
