The metal identification plate is marked with the Starrett name, Athol, Massachusetts location, and patent number 1,698,566. The steel measuring tape has Starrett’s “Quick Reading” graduations and is marked for a total length of 100 feet. The case measures approximately 4.25 inches in diameter by 0.75 inch wide. Tested for basic operation: the tape pulls out and rewinds into the case normally. The beginning section of the tape is warped or bent. The entire 100-foot length was not extended and independently measured, and the tape’s calibration accuracy is not guaranteed. Condition: Heavily used vintage condition.
