Vintage Black Velvet Gold Bullion Embroidered Clutch – Made in India Beautiful vintage evening clutch featuring exceptionally detailed dimensional metallic embroidery over rich black velvet. The elaborate floral and foliage design is created with coiled metallic bullion-style embroidery, giving the purse wonderful texture, depth and an antique gold appearance. The workmanship is especially striking up close. Interior is lined in black satin and retains its original woven “MADE IN INDIA” label. Measures approximately: 8" wide x 5" high x 2" deep Weight: approximately 5 oz This appears to be a vintage mid-century Indian evening bag, likely dating from approximately the 1950s–1970s.
