A signed Vendome cluster in the house's best register — cream baroque pearls alternating with large faceted aurora borealis beads, all mounted on an openwork gold filigree disc. Vendome was Coro's premium line and it shows here in the construction. The pearls sit in individually formed filigree bead caps rather than glued cups, the AB beads are generously sized and hand-set at varying heights so the cluster has real depth, and the backing disc is pierced filigree rather than a stamped blank. The reverse carries the Vendome signature on each hinged clip. At 29 mm across and just under 21 grams for the pair, these are a proper 1950s and 1960s statement cluster rather than a small button.
