The is a French style Victorian purse handle, circa mid-20th century. The clasp in the center opens slightly to release and open. There are several rows of faux pearls and gold seed beads creating the scalloped edge. It is in very good condition with little signs of ever being used. This is not a complete purse but a part to repair or make a custom purse, handbag to match your dress. A metal snake chain handle attaches directly to the frame loops at each wand. Sew Holes: Small channels or holes run along the inner edge of the channel, which allow a crafter to stitch the purse material securely to the hardware.
