This one is a type 18, used only from 1946 to 1947. It will functionally fit a type 16-19 plane body. There is a small area on the end of the left "foot" that appears to be a casting flaw. A nice frog user assembly for Stanley's vintage No. 3 and 5-1/4 metallic bench planes. This one is a type 18, used only from 1946 to 1947. It will functionally fit a type 16-19 plane body. It is in Good Plus condition with no damage. There is a small area on the end of the left "foot" that appears to be a casting flaw. This does not prevent it from sitting securely on the plane body.  A solid user original replacement for a damaged frog. Includes all parts of the frog shown (complete). For these reasons, I will also try to list a description of these grades in each listing in order to clarify the grade given to each item. No signs of wear or rust - probably never used. No problems or issues. EXCELLENT: 95-99% of original finish remaining. Very slight wear with no rust. No problems or issues. GOOD PLUS: 85-95% of original finish remaining. Used but well maintained. Scuffs, light wear, very little rust.  GOOD: 65-85% of original finish remaining. Moderate wear and/or rust. Minor deficiencies - owner's initials, nicks, etc. GOOD MINUS: 50-65% of original finish remaining. Has seen hard use, but remains serviceable. Scratches, nicks, dents, cracks, chips, improper replacement parts. FAIR: 25-50% of original finish remaining. Heavy wear and rust. Some parts are broken, missing, or improper - serious flaws.  POOR: 0-25% of original finish remaining. Pitted, abused, heavily worn. Serious damage and missing major parts. Condition: Used.
