It was made in Japan by Morimura Bros., the direct successor of Morimura Gumi and a forerunner to Noritake. The green M mark stamped on the bottom was in use from 1911, and the Nippon period spans 1891-1921, dating this teapot from 1911-1921. The teapot measures 8 7/8" L x 5 3/16" W x 5 1/2" H and holds 24 fl oz. Please note there is minor wear to the gold on the handle, a touched-up small chip on the teapot's rim, and a chip/subsequent crack on the lid's inner rim (see last photo).
