Features a deep cobalt trailing floral vine print across a scalloped rim with remaining hand-applied gold trim accents. Gilding: Heavy wear to the gold edging along the scalloped rim, faded thin down to the glaze in most areas. An authentic late-19th to early-20th-century English flow blue 10-inch dinner plate in W. H. Grindley's "Duchess" pattern. Features a deep cobalt trailing floral vine print across a scalloped rim with remaining hand-applied gold trim accents. Markings (Reverse) Blue Crest Stamp: Displays DUCHESS in the top banner, flanked by TRADE MARK, R'd N° 134534 (design registered in 1889 with the British Patent Office), and FB (factory mark for Flow Blue). Impressed Mark: Impressed number 2 near the center back. Condition Report Structure: Complete structural integrity with no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or repairs. Gilding: Heavy wear to the gold edging along the scalloped rim, faded thin down to the glaze in most areas. Surface: Glaze remains glossy.
