Up for auction is a 2003 Li Bien hand painted glass Christmas ornament in the original blue velvet box. The phase "Li Bien" means "inside".  This showcases the skill of painting the glass ornament on the inside.  Through a small opening in the ornament, the artist repeatedly inserts a mini brush to paint the artwork.  The process takes about 2 days per ornament, very painstaking and time consuming. The ornament is approx. 4".  The box is approx. 4 1/2 square.  It's not marked but I believe this came from Pier 1 Imports. This item is in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
