Item Description This listing is for a lovely estate necklace featuring a Chinese or Asian smiling woman standing in a long robe holding either a bouquet of flowers or cluster of fruit in her hand with tiny red jewel near her neck. The chain is composed of round black onyx beads mixed with a few light colored ones and tiny bead spacers. The woman on her own measures approx 3" by about 1 1/2" across the widest part. She is tied to the beaded necklace at the top and bottom. The strand is long enough to go over the head so there is no clasp. Beads measure more than 1/4" to less than 1/2" give or take. I do not measure in millimeters. To give an approximate idea of the length of the necklace, it would be roughly around 36" total including the woman IF it could be opened. There are black thread knots in between the black beads. There are no markings and I know nothing about its age or provenance other than it was a recent estate acquisition among a lovely collection of vintage jewelry.
