This substantial statement figurine features beautifully sculpted feather detail and vibrant hand-painted decoration in green, blue, black, pink, yellow, brown and white. The dramatic arched tail, oversized comb and detailed plumage give the piece excellent presence from either side. Marked underneath  “MADE IN ITALY for GUMP'S.” Measures approximately  13" high × 1-.5" long  and weighs  2 lb 11.4 oz . Very good vintage condition. Vibrant hand-painted color with glossy glaze. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs observed. There are a few small areas of paint/color wear on the tail feathers, shown in the close-up photo, along with light age/display wear to the underside. The comb, beak and sculptural tail appear intact. Please review all photographs carefully as part of the condition description.
