A richly worked pair of Bali-style drops: rounded-triangle plaques with a raised scroll-and-bead border and pierced heart cut-outs, each centred on a round red cabochon with the mottled, pitted texture of sponge coral. The oxidised recesses make the silverwork read in relief against the bright red centre. Each drop hangs from a plain French hook ear wire with a small ball stop, so it moves with the head; drop approximately 37 mm. The reverse is bright polished with pierced openings that show the stone back. Solid 925 sterling silver, stamped 925 in a rectangular cartouche on the reverse of each drop. No maker's mark.
