This is one of Bostitch's older USA-made metal machines — a substantial, heavy stapler built very differently from today's lightweight desktop models. It is especially useful for repetitive office, shop or workroom stapling because the machine fires automatically when material is inserted. Tested with paper and staples and working properly. It feeds and staples as it should. The adjustable paper stop allows the staple position to be set for consistent placement from one stack to the next. Uses Bostitch SB19-1/4 staples. The heavy metal housing and stable base give it a solid feel on the desk, and this example remains very clean overall for its age.
