View Vintage TAXCO Signed JDF Mexican Sterling Silver Abalone Spiral Earrings 925 with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. At a distance and to the visible eye, the abalone inlay appears quite good. Upon close inspection, there are hairline cracks in the abalone inlay and a couple of tiny areas of missing/chipped shell pieces. This pair of vintage Mexican modernist earrings features an iridescent colorful abalone shell inlay set in a striking spiral or pinwheel pattern. Handcrafted by the artisan J.D.F. in Taxco, Mexico, these button-style statement earrings utilize non-pierced screw-back closures. Stamped "J.D.F", "Sterling", and "Taxco 925" on the reverse.
