Beautiful 37-piece antique 1847 Rogers Bros. silverplate flatware set in the Vintage / Vintage Grape pattern, introduced in 1904. This classic pattern features ornate grape clusters, vines and floral detailing. 37 pieces total: * 8 teaspoons – approx. 6” * 6 medium spoons – approx. 7” * 6 large spoons – approx. 8” * 7 dinner forks – approx. 7½” * 8 dinner knives – approx. 10” * 1 large serving spoon – approx. 9” * 1 large serving fork – approx. 8” Pieces are marked 1847 Rogers Bros., with an A1 mark visible on some pieces. Condition: Antique, pre-owned condition with age-appropriate scratches, tarnish, discoloration and wear. The spoons and forks retain attractive, well-defined grape-and-vine decoration. The knife blades show noticeable dark staining, oxidation/corrosion, pitting and plating wear, particularly around the blade/handle joints and edges. One spoon also has heavier discoloration/wear. Please examine all photos closely as they are an important part of the condition description. This is silverplate, not sterling silver. The set has not been aggressively polished and is being offered in its present antique condition. A beautiful early-20th-century partial service for a collector, replacement pieces, display, or table use following appropriate cleaning.
