There is some minor chipping/roughness along the bottom 3-inch fitter edge (the area that sits down inside the metal cup holder). This is completely hidden from view when the lamp is assembled and displayed. • Metal Base: Shows normal signs of vintage age, including light oxidation, surface wear, and tarnishing to the brass finish, adding to its authentic antique character. Do not ship them assembled, as the metal will fracture the glass if the box is dropped. • Double Box (Optional but Recommended): Place the wrapped glass inside a small box, then place that small box and the wrapped metal bracket into your main shipping box surrounded by packing peanuts or crumpled paper.
