One side features three winged cherubs, two birds & cascading greenery & flowers. The other side is almost identical, except it features two winged cherubs & a bit less greenery & flowers. The entire base has a decorative pattern of long leaves, with flowers & leaves right above this, cascading across the front & back. Vintage Vase Urn Double Handled Majolica Urn.  This item is clearly marked on the bottom with raised letters 24 made in japan.  The vase urn has the look of Hinode or Maruhon design.  But this piece has bright purple in the flowers.  I do not know the maker but it is still very old and vintage. It is made of heavy ceramic.  I have has this piece in with my inventory back in 2003 to 2005 when I had a resale - antique shop.  I closed down that store and have had this and other pieces in my basement storage area since.  This vase urn measures approximately 4 3/4 inches tall x 3 1/4 inches through the handles area and 2 1/4 inches at the bottom.  The opening at the top is almost 2 inches wide.  There are no chips, cracks, or grazing to this piece.   One side features three winged cherubs, two birds & cascading greenery & flowers. The other side is almost identical, except it features two winged cherubs & a bit less greenery & flowers. The entire base has a decorative pattern of long leaves, with flowers & leaves right above this, cascading across the front & back. The top also features this design, but to a lesser degree.
