It is a stoneware clay with a green and brown drip glaze with various sheens. Studio Art Pottery Honey Pot Crock with Lid and Dipper Artist Signed Finkelnburg Green Brown Drip Glaze Stoneware  ****AS IS***Lid Repaired**** Condition: This is a fabulous honey jar with an AS IS lid and wooden dipper.  It is hand-thrown pottery signed Finkelnburg. It is not dated.  It is a stoneware clay with a green and brown drip glaze with various sheens.  The lid and top are glossy and the bottom half is a matte glaze.  It has raw pottery on the base, edges, and on the lid.  It has a broken lid that has been repaired.  It is such a shame because it is such a gorgeous, hand-crafted piece of pottery.  It is glazed on the interior.  It measures 4.25" tall with lid x 3.75" tall without lid x 4" wide at the base x 2.75" wide at rim.  It holds approximately 16 fl oz.  It weighs 1 lb 1 oz.  It is in fair condition.  The jar has no chips, cracks, or damage.  The lid does have a break that has been repaired.  It is noticeable from that side.  The wood dipper has a nice patina and minimal signs of wear.  Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of this stunning honey jar with the broken lid.
