On the top, a portrait of EBERT, President of the German Republic. On the bottom, portrait of GUSTAV BAUER, President of the Council. World War I  or the  First World War  (28 July 1914 – 11 November 1918), also known as the  Great War. Approximate size is 16 x 18 inches, 8 pages . A supplement of  Le Petit Journal  newspaper, a conservative daily publication in Paris, France. Begun in 1884, the supplement quickly gained popularity, as it was the first to feature color illustrations. By 1895, over a million copies were being produced every week.  Le Petit Journal  ceased publication in 1944 . Acceptable Condition. Usable and readable, but old papers are very fragile.
