It sports a fitted lid with a spire top handle. Lovey lead crystal diamond cut glass footed lidded spire top candy dish. Stunning decorative piece with a wide shallow bowl elevated on four small ball/claw feet.  Perfect for a candy / nut / potpourri jar, or decorative lidded basket for trinkets. It has a round globular / pumpkin-like bodying beautifully hand cut geometric patterns, typical of the lobster, diamond, fan and crosshatch motifs common in ABP or similar European styles. It sports a fitted lid with a spire top handle. I was told that it was purchased in Europe sometime between 1959-19612, but online information says it is a 'beautiful example of American Brilliant Period cut glass.'
