Please excuse any glare in the photos. This charming, rectangular buckle has a border of flowers surrounding it. It measures approximately 1 7/16 inches by 1 1/4 inches, and it weighs 23.7 grams unpacked. There are two affixed pins which were previously used to attach a belt or sash. There also are two tiny holes opposite the pins. The interior area where a belt or sash end goes is approximately 15/16 inch wide. This would be a nice addition to a collection of antique ladies belt buckles. Identification This buckle is marked with a tiny anchor and also with the following, "GORHAM 0393." It is believed to be antique, and the exact age is not known. The composition is not marked, but it is silverplated. Condition The buckle looks good overall, as shown, with some wear from use. There are some scratches and tarnish areas. The opening where a belt inserts has minor bending. Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying.
