Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 SIZING The tag labels this a size 6, but vintage sizes do tend to run smaller than modern sizes, so this may be closer to a modern size 4.  The actual measurements are as follows:   Bust: 16.5 inches across, underarm to underarm (33 inches around) Natural Waist: 13.5 inches across (27 inches around.  Measured at the narrowest part of the dress.) Hips: 17.5 inches across (35 inches around) Length: 35 inches from the top of the straps to the hem.  26.5 inches from the underarm to the hem   Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around.  DESCRIPTION This is a sexy vintage mini cocktail dress from the late 80s - early 90s that was made in the USA by Positively Ellyn.  The the material is a jet black rayon velvet, and the dress is fully lined in black rayon.  The bust of the dress is studded in clear rhinestones, giving the dress an elegant sparkle.  The dress is sleeveless with spaghetti straps, and it has a sweetheart neckline.  The dress is short, and it has a fitted wiggle cut.  It closes with a zipper down the back.     CONDITION This item is in excellent vintage condition.  I did notice that the straps have been shortened by about an inch in the back, but this is a minor alteration that is not visible at all from the outside.     Please feel free to ask any questions about this item before bidding.  I'm happy to answer any questions you might have!
