Fine French Portrait Miniature of an Elegant Young Lady, Charles X Period, c. 1825–1830 Dear collectors,  Noblesse-Collection  is pleased to propose you this ornamental and   f ine French  portrait miniature dating from the Charles X period, circa 1825–1830 , depicting an elegant young  lady portrayed half-length against a delicate pale blue background. The sitter wears a fashionable tartan-patterned dress with puffed sleeves and a finely rendered  lace-trimmed  neckline. Her elaborate hairstyle, arranged in high loops and curls with ringlets framing  the forehead, is particularly characteristic of the second half of the 1820s . The artist has rendered the face with great delicacy, using subtle flesh tones and fine details to give  the sitter a gentle and refined expression. The soft modelling and meticulous execution are typical  of French portrait miniature painting of the Restoration period. Period: Charles X, circa 1825–1830. Presented in a newer wooden frame , added at a later date and not original to the miniature . Without the frame : Diameter 4,4  cm 1.73 in. with the frame : Diameter  : 9,8  cm 3.86 in.
