Includes classic titles and authors/illustrators including Syd Hoff, Alvin Schwartz, Marc Simont, Mary DeBall Kwitz, and others. Approximately half of the books are in overall Good condition, while the others show more substantial age/use wear. Condition issues vary by book and may include cover/spine/edge wear, rubbing, age-related toning/yellowing, staining/spotting, writing or previous-owner markings, and other general handling wear. Some specific issues noted during inspection include: Chester – Cover wear, writing/markings including crossed-out names/price notation, and some brown spotting to interior pages. Scarlet Monster Lives Here – Some staining/discoloration to the back cover; otherwise presents reasonably well. Ten Copycats in a Boat and Other Riddles – Heavier overall wear and staining/age-related discoloration; considered Acceptable condition. Little Chick's Story – Interior presents well overall, with noticeable wear along the upper portion/edges of the cover. Sammy the Seal – Age-related toning/yellowing and some offsetting/image transfer onto the facing blank page. Bottom-edge tears are present on pages 11–12 and 17–18.
