It is a very lovely piece of transferware in wonderful antique condition. Features a ladle cutout in the lid (ladle is not included). - Excellent antique structural condition with one sm chip. This mark represents an English earthenware manufacturer from Staffordshire—the pottery heartland of England. The stamp on the bottom reveals the historical origins of this piece, pointing directly to the late Victorian or early Edwardian era (circa 1880–1910). Pattern names during the late 19th century were heavily inspired by historic English cities, estates, and cathedrals to evoke a sense of traditional prestige.Design Methodology: The piece was decorated using multi-color transferware.  A copper plate engraved with the geometric and floral borders was used to print the outlines onto the ceramic body before it was hand-painted with colored enamels and finished with genuine gold gilt highlighting. - Excellent antique structural condition with one sm chip. - Shows fine, uniform age-related glaze crazing across the cream finish, which highlights its authentic vintage provenance. - Very minor, expected rubbing to the gold gilt paint along the high-contact areas of the handles, commensurate with age and careful use. The under platter is approximately 16 x 10“ the vegetable bowl with the approximately 14 inches long thandle to handle and 8 inches wide  The whole set up is about 9 1/2 inches tall It is a very lovely piece of transferware in wonderful antique condition.
