They are Spanish Neapolitan Style Nativity Three Kings Figures Beaded Velvet Melchior Gaspar Balthazar  beautifully handcrafted during the late 1960s to early 1970s transition era. This set is a stellar example of American mid-century "Dip 'N Drape" folk art, radiating nostalgic holiday kitsch! The Artistry & Materials: Sculpted "Drape" Robes: Each king features sweeping, realistically flowing royal garments created using the classic fabric-dipping method. The wet-plaster/starch fabric has dried rock-hard, capturing gorgeous, permanent movement and pleats. Hand-Painted Details: Unlike cheaper sets that used mass-produced plastic faces, these Wise Men feature beautifully hand-painted faces, showing wonderful artistic skill and unique, expressive character. Jeweled Embellishments: The kings are heavily adorned with a dazzling array of vintage-style flat-backed rhinestones, jewels, and metallic accents on their crowns and the gifts they carry.
