It is made of a sheer white cotton batiste lawn fabric with whitework raised padded satin stitch embroidery broderie anglaise eyelet cutwork lace designs and pintuck pleated details. This lovely lace lawn dress tea gown has a long tea length, a layered ruffle flounce trimmed top over the shoulders, long fitted sleeves, hooks closures down the back and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 52 inches long, with a 36 inch chest, 24 inch waist, 44 inch hips, 25 inch long sleeves, 14 inch back and 12 inch neck. It is in good condition, with only a few small mended repairs on the bottom hem skirt (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
