The cream-colored ceramic body features blue-gray dimensional decorative bands and multiple wolf scenes, including a full wolf in a snowy forest landscape and a detailed wolf portrait. The artwork is surrounded by substantial molded relief decoration that gives the stein considerable depth and texture. Topped with an ornate hinged 95% Zinn pewter lid , beautifully embossed with detailed floral and scroll decoration. The underside of the lid is marked GERZ 95% ZINN , confirming the high-tin pewter composition. The ceramic base is also marked GERZ GERMANY . Bottom bears the authentic GERZ GERMANY maker's mark.
