Beautiful sterling silver drop pendant featuring a small oval metallic-gray cabochon, likely hematite, above a large polished black teardrop cabochon consistent with onyx. The pendant has an ornate articulated design with detailed silver granulation, twisted-rope borders, applied scrollwork, and dimensional floral-style decoration around the lower stone setting. The upper section is framed with raised silver beadwork surrounding the smooth reflective cabochon, while the lower section terminates in a substantial glossy black drop. The overall look has a strong artisan / Southwestern / Balinese-inspired character, with substantial hand-worked detail and attractive natural patina.
