Each piece is marked “MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN” on the underside. Vintage Made in Occupied Japan miniature porcelain tea trio consisting of a handled cup, matching saucer, and matching side plate. Features a striking deep red/orange banded design with floral center decoration, scalloped edges, repeating gold-tone border design, and gilt trim. Each piece is marked “MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN” on the underside. These pieces date to the post-WWII Occupied Japan export period, approximately 1947-1952. This is a genuinely miniature set; please see the ruler/scale photos for size. Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with noticeable age-related wear to the gold/gilt decoration, particularly around the cup rim and decorative borders. There is additional surface/decorative wear, fading and small age marks consistent with an approximately 75-year-old piece.
