The aventurine sparkle is especially noticeable under direct lighting and gives the piece exceptional visual depth. Beautiful mid-century Murano art glass fish bowl attributed to Fratelli Toso, featuring opaque white lattimo glass with swirling copper aventurine decoration throughout. The body is finished with soft pink cased glass along the edges and tail, creating a striking contrast against the shimmering aventurine spiral design. This sculptural fish-form bowl displays wonderfully with strong Venetian studio glass styling commonly associated with Fratelli Toso Murano production from the 1950s–1960s export era. The aventurine sparkle is especially noticeable under direct lighting and gives the piece exceptional visual depth. A few small inclusions are present within the glass from the original manufacturing process.
