Johann Haviland China was made at Waldershof, Germany factory until the late 1980's.    Today I have up for consideration a  Johann Haviland - Bread & Butter- Dessert Plate . This piece is 6-1/4" in diameter. This piece has a White background with Blue Flowers. This piece is Trimmed in Platinum. This piece has a Embossed Rim & is Scalloped. This Pattern has been Discontinued & was only in Production from 1991-2008. The Johann Haviland company produced everyday China, hotel China & also high-quality China for home use. The company was sold in 1924 to Richard - Ginori & the name changed to Porzellanfabrik Waldershof AG. In 1937, Rosenthal China of Germany purchased the company & began producing fine China for export to the United States, marked "Johann Haviland, Bavaria, Germany". The Johann Haviland Corporation of Des Plaines, Illinois distributed many Johann Haviland patterns in the 1970's & 1980's . Some of these patterns carry a Bavarian or Thailand back stamp.
