The cut glass body of this powder box is decorated with a large engraved flower on center top and deeply cut leaves surround the outside edge. The bottom section is decorated with notched panels and a deeply cut "star" on base. Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely 19th Century American Brilliant Period (ABP) engraved cut glass powder or dresser box. The cut glass body of this powder box is decorated with a large engraved flower on center top and deeply cut leaves surround the outside edge. The bottom section is decorated with notched panels and a deeply cut "star" on base.  This stunning box is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  The metal band is silver plated and has some minor loss/flaking from normal wear (see photos). No other noted damage. The box stands 2 3/4" high with a 5 1/4" diameter. We have a great selection of American Brilliant Period cut glass in our eBay Store so please check our other great items.
