Here is a vintage 1950s - 1960s "Christmas Bell Set Of 12PC" in the original box. Please note however that one original style bell is missing and there is a Santa bell included as a replacement. There are two bells with an angel design - one bell has a damaged and knotted hanger cord and is also a replacement. All bells are porcelain and have a porcelain clapper tied with string inside. The 11 original style bells are stamped "Japan" inside and the Santa bell has a foil "Ardalt Japan" label inside. The top row of bells are about 1 1/2" tall and Santa is 2" tall. The bottom row of bells are about 1 1/4" tall. Ten of the original bells have gold metallic cord ties (these are not knotted). One angel bell has a worn, shortened and knotted cord. The 11 bells have colorful Christmas motif designs and a greeting in gold metallic script. Most designs have minor wear or imperfections. The candlestick design bell and the angel bells have more paint imperfections. No chips, cracks or crazing to the porcelain bells. The original cardboard box has holiday graphics paper covering and has the original label on the bottom and is stamped "2031D Japan". Good firm condition overall with some minor scuffs and tears to the paper covering, and one box bottom and lid corners have a partial tear/split. The cardboard insert for the bells has a silver foil covering that shows scuffs, bug damage. No musty or smoke odor. Please note: the bright white spots in my picture are camera glare, flash.
