Gorgeous flat demitasse cup and saucer set from Crown Staffordshire made in England, in the pattern named Rock Bird. It is made of fine bone china with smooth edges and smooth porcelain, with a slightly raised enamel design of a colorful bird with a colorful background of floral vines, and striking pink peonies. Peonies are favored flowers in China and Japan, and the vine background gives this set an oriental flare. A few of the feathers in the bird’s tail are gold so it shimmers a bit in the light. This pattern was made by Crown Staffordshire of England from 1975-1979 according to Replacements, so with a only four year, run there are not many of this pattern out there. The cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.  The diameter of the cup is 2 & 1/8 inches and is 2 & 3/16 inches tall.
