There is a matching signature on inside of lid rim and top inside rim of bowl also has an original stamp on the bottom. This Antique Nippon Hand Painted Biscuit Cracker Jar with Lid features a beautiful floral pattern in multi-color, hand-painted on porcelain. Produced in Japan during the late 19th century, this vintage biscuit jar adds a touch of elegance to any dining table or kitchen decor. There is a matching signature on inside of lid rim and top inside rim of bowl also has an original stamp on the bottom. The gold has some wear appropriate with jars age. There is a small manufacturer's flaw on top of one handle, see photos.  Approx.10" wide from tip of handle to tip of handle. As with all vintage items, some wear or manufacturing imperfections may be present.
