It's tall and slender, has a very slight curve to the torso, and has simple but very nicely painted vertical linear patterns that accentuate the length of the body... it's just a super nice piece of folk art, and I think it will make someone very happy. Approx. dimensions: 6.75" high x 1.75" wide Oaxacan woodcarvings are also called alebrijes (pronounced all-ay-bree-hays) - they are carved in small family workshops on the outskirts of the city of Oaxaca.
