As is fairly common with such pieces, the Thunderbird slide is neither signed nor marked as sterling. The black woven tile 32" long. The bolo tie is in excellent condition. The bolo tie slide measures 1 5/8" tall with a maximum width of 1 3/8".  You can see the size relative to a Walking Liberty half dollar, a quarter, and a Mercury dime in one of the photos.  The black woven tile 32" long. As is fairly common with such pieces, the Thunderbird slide is neither signed nor marked as sterling.  We will 100% guarantee your satisfaction with the bolo tie.  The back of the slide has a fairly heavy patina of silver tarnish consistent with its age.  I opted to leave the patina as found, especially with respect to the potential difficulty of removing the tie, Please note:  The pair of findings that secure the tie are soldered in place.  You can slide the Thunderbird clasp up and down fairly easily, but if you want to replace the tie with one that is leather, has sterling aiglets, etc. be very careful when removing the tie.  The tie has plastic aiglets that I am concerned might catch on the metal finding and result in the aiglets being torn off.  A little gentle pressure at the center of the findings might be helpful.  I opted not to try to remove the tie.   Condition: The bolo tie is in excellent condition.   There is a small, natural flaw in the coral tail feather as seen on the extreme closeup photo, that is otherwise visible only on very close inspection.
