The high neckline, dark collar, and vertically striped bodice with decorative trim point to fashion trends from that era. The sitter appears to be a young woman or adolescent, possibly in her teens. Based on the hairstyle, clothing, and cabinet card format, this portrait likely dates from circa 1895–1905. Measures approx. 2 3/8" x 1 1/2"  Condition Good condition with some yellowing from age.
