The stem of this compote is zippered and the base has a 16 star ray. This is a stunning antique ABCG pedestal compote dish. This is from the early ABCG period and it is beautifully crafted (The American Brilliant Period in cut glass history began around 1886 and lasted until 1916). Floral decor with 4 large flowers, 12 engraved petals, leaves and lots of diamond cut and tiny flowers (a lot of details!). The stem of this compote is zippered and the base has a 16 star ray. The edge of the bowl is sawtoothed. Has an amazing ring to it when tapped.
