Such a beautiful midcentury Murano glass biomorphic or shell shaped dish or bowl. It is solid and very heavy. Attributed to the work of the well-known Venetian artist, Alfredo Barbini. Dates to the 1950s-1960s and is a light olive green color with gold flecks of varying density to create striations of lighter and heavier gold. The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is very slight roughness on the "dips" leading up to the curl, which I believe was from the making. There are a few light surface marks and some light shelf wear on the base as expected for glass of this age.
