This is an authentic large antique Chinese Ge-glaze blue and white porcelain bowl, dating to the mid to late Qing Dynasty (circa 18th–19th century). The foot ring is unglazed with natural firing marks and faint reddish fire skin, consistent with age and authentic Qing Dynasty folk kiln characteristics. Large Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Ge Glaze Blue and White Floral Porcelain Bowl Dimension: 8.75 inches (22cm) This is an authentic large antique Chinese Ge-glaze blue and white porcelain bowl, dating to the mid to late Qing Dynasty (circa 18th–19th century). With an impressive diameter of 22cm, this heavy, substantial bowl was likely used as an offering bowl in ancestral halls or as a large serving bowl for ceremonial use. The bowl is hand-painted with charming sprigs of flowers in underglaze blue, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune. The entire exterior and interior are covered in a fine Ge-type crackled glaze, forming a beautiful network of “gold thread and iron wire” crackles across the surface. The painting style is freehand and rustic, typical of folk kiln production. The foot ring is unglazed with natural firing marks and faint reddish fire skin, consistent with age and authentic Qing Dynasty folk kiln characteristics. This large size is much less commonly found in perfect condition than smaller bowls. Condition: Good antique condition with natural age-related wear, fine crackle to the glaze, no major damage.
