Vintage album compiled by a collector in the 1950s & 60s of photographs of US Navy warships along with other related photos, 2 vintage booklets on related themes and a sheaf of typewritten & mimeoed sheets relating to various warships. There are 24 8x10s issued by Our Navy Magazine 1 Hanson Place Brooklyn 17, NY. These are are US Navy Official Photos with the ship's name stamped on the front in gold. Our Navy was the standard publication of the U.S. Navy. Also another 4 original 8x10s,; 32 4x5 real photos of mostly navy ships but also some ocean liners and commercial ships; 33 small (2.5"x1.5") photos of warships & Great Lakes Naval Base, about +/- 6 odd items including a color movie lobby card from "Men of the Fighting Lady" showing a helicopter landing on a aircraft carrier. Also the 2 booklets shown from the US Naval institute with their original mailing labels dated 1956 & 1964. Also some typed material including " A History of the USS Miller" & "A History of the USS Spence." These are all original photographs on photographic paper (silver gelatin prints) not printed photos or photo lithographs. Nice group that would cost plenty to assemble today if it was even possible.
