It has early straw stuffing and mohair?. The bear's brown color and has black buttons for its eyes giving it a classic look. A little stitching, is showing on the right side. Nose with straw recessed and stitch showing. This Antique Teddy Bear is a Sweet and Cuddly. Definitely well loved!! There is a bow, but also an Antique Victorian Lease that comes with him. It has early straw stuffing and mohair? materials. The bear's brown color and has black buttons for its eyes giving it a classic look. Sits unassisted if you take time to position him. He must have had a squeaker or noise maker in his mid section as when you pat him you can hear the sound, probably not the intended sound at first came with. Both ears are intact, but look like they might have been mended at one point. A little stitching, is showing on the right side. Nose with straw recessed and stitch showing. The bears body has no rips, tears or visible straw showing, although where wire is holding joint together there is a little pulling and some straw is visible. Definitely some of its hair is worn and there is a stain, worn area or dirt on his lower body (I did not try to clean) Measuring at 22 inches in size, it is the perfect plush bear for hugging or displaying. This original and well-loved bear is a must-have for any vintage toy collector.
