This Fenton Carnival Glass is a wonderful representation of a very popular pattern - Captive Rose. It is quite lovely - especially the double crimped rim. It was difficult to create a good photo of what this gorgeous piece looks like. This Fenton Carnival Glass is a wonderful representation of a very popular pattern - Captive Rose.  It is quite lovely - especially the double crimped rim.  It was difficult to create a good photo of what this gorgeous piece looks like.  Some Carnival Glass colors are more rare, but the color of marigold is calming.  This antique has kept its original color and the durabiliy is amazing.  The Carnival Glass captive rose was manufactured from 1910 to 1912.  This pattern was part of the first widely produced and famous line of Carnival Glass by the Fenton Art Glass Company.  This bowl is 3" in hgt and  8" rim diameter.
