Featuring a mercury glass ball banded in peacock blue, with long stem and open port, it is complete with a "cloud" of cotton batting and wire wrapping. I think at one time there was an angel scrap - I don't see any indication of one missing, but this type of ornie was usually decorated in this manner. Condition of the glass is very nice with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or damage - the crinkle wire is very messy as shown - does not detract a bit. There is no metal cap, by design, the wire simply wraps tightly around the very end so that a tiny hook can be easily threaded for display.
