Featuring individual 1" ribbed raised bead banded torpedo tubes alternating with double mercury glass faceted silver beads measuring about 3/4" long. Colors are just striking in rich pastel tones of pink, chartreuse, cobalt blue and red - just beautiful. Garland is complete with the original ends of a cardboard square and foil over cardboard star with correct loop knot closure. This was designed to dangle vertically from a tree branch and was not cut down or shortened into the current ornament - it belonged to my Mom and dates 1940s or 1950s. Condition is very nice - typical paint fading, mercury glass darkening to the silver beads, and usage wear - no broken beads or exposed line.
