These are true turquoise stones, not composite or reconstituted material. The original necklace was shorter and composed of sterling bench-style beads; a sterling Italy chain was added later to provide a more comfortable wearable length (now approximately 16 inches). Chain addition is sterling and blends seamlessly with the design while preserving the original handmade look.
