I don’t know if the item was made in the US or if it was obtained overseas, but it is lovely but unmarked as to maker. Back to the lid, it has a series of concentric circles in the Art Deco style of the 1920’s and I have not tried to clean it. Offered here is an antique glass and metal mustard (or jelly) jar.  The glass measures 3-1/4” tall, each panel is 1-1/2” wide with beveled corners and lovely pressed design on the upper surfaces of all four glass sides.  The metal lid has spoon opening, and it is 1-3/4” in diameter.  I have been the owner of this jar for more than 40 years – it came to me with a box lot of Victorian glass ware from a Naval officer’s home in Annapolis.  I don’t know if the item was made in the US or if it was obtained overseas, but it is lovely but unmarked as to maker. Back to the lid, it has a series of concentric circles in the Art Deco style of the 1920’s and I have not tried to clean it.  The schmutz on the lid is movable by fingernail, but I will leave cleaning to new owner.  I don’t believe the lid is removable and for that reason it is offered “as is” as pictured and described.  Condition: PRE-OWNED, WELL USED.
