Antique - likely 100-130 years old - screw back dangle earrings made from carved celluloid to mimic natural ivory. I do not believe they are real ivory because they do not fluoresce under blacklight and the grain looks uniform. The carving is exquisite. It has a beautiful design with what I believe is a horse in the center. It looks like it is Chinese in origin. There is also a flower on the front of the screw back. The metal shows signs of age but no damage or verdigris. Overall, these are in excellent condition, especially for a piece so delicate and so old! Condition: Pre-owned - Excellent.
